Mid-Century Scandinavian Bentwood Armchair

First introduced in the mid-1950s, this molded bentwood armchair has remained a favorite for its comfort, adaptability, and timeless modern style. Designed with both form and function in mind, it offers a lightweight yet durable structure that works beautifully in dining areas, offices, or lounge settings.

The chair features a sculpted seat and back crafted from multilayered wood with a natural beechwood finish. Slim tubular steel legs, finished in polished chrome, provide strength and a sleek contrast to the warm wood grain. Integrated armrests add extra comfort while maintaining the chair’s elegant, flowing silhouette.

Built using traditional mid-century Scandinavian furniture-making methods, this reproduction remains true to the classic bentwood construction techniques. For added convenience, it is stackable up to five chairs high.
